Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Delivery Driver/Helper, where your energy and dedication will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting furniture and large items from our warehouse to customer locations, ensuring each delivery is handled with care and professionalism. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will contribute to a seamless delivery experience, making customers happy and building lasting relationships. Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, secure, and unload furniture items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Assist customers with the placement and setup of furniture in their homes or offices Load and unload deliveries efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the products Follow designated route driving plans to ensure timely deliveries across assigned areas Provide outstanding customer service by communicating professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns during delivery Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and vehicle inspection records throughout each shift Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or helper, preferably with furniture or large item deliveries Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and effectively Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is a plus Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and traffic regulations Comfortable working in physically demanding environments requiring manual labor and heavy lifting Prior warehouse experience or commercial driving background is preferred Join us today to be part of a motivated team dedicated to delivering quality service while advancing your career in transportation and logistics!
