announces vacancies for Part-Time Fire Systems Laborer positions based out of our 1070 Rte. 9 location in Schodack, NY. These positions will work with a Questar

III BOCES

Fire Systems Specialist to inspect and service all classes of fire extinguishers and fire alarm systems; complete related tasks pertaining to inspection and service reports; and provide customer service excellence to our clients. Additional duties may include assisting in maintaining, cleaning, and testing fire alarm systems. Qualified candidates must be self-directed, have the ability to work in a team atmosphere, possess mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, have good communication skills, and have the availability to work 2nd shift hours (2 pm- 10:30 pm). Workload includes servicing multiple clients across the greater Capital Region using provided service vehicles. Candidates must have a clean driving record and have reliable transportation to report to the main work location. Advancement opportunities are available.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent Valid NYS driver's license Basic computer skills Experience with various hand tools Ability to lift fifty pounds (50 lbs) Hourly pay for this position is $20.00 per hour.
