Job Description

Clothes Bin of New York is looking for a dependable, physically capable person to help service our clothing and textile collection program. This is a flexible part-time position, initially about 10-25 hours per week depending on collection volume and operational needs. The position could grow into steady part-time or full-time work for the right person. What You'll Do Help load and unload bags of donated clothing and textiles Assist with servicing clothing collection bins throughout Long Island Keep collection sites clean and orderly Load and organize material in our box truck and storage area Ride along on collection routes while learning the operation Use a smartphone to record pickups, photos, and route information Depending on experience, drive our company box truck and eventually complete routes independently What We're Looking For Dependable and able to follow an assigned route and work instructions Comfortable with frequent lifting, loading, unloading, and physical outdoor work Valid driver's license and good driving record Comfortable driving throughout Long Island and, when needed, across bridges and into other parts of New York Box truck, delivery, or route-driving experience is a plus, but not required Some early-morning availability Flexible availability for several shifts per week Pay $22-$25 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities. Candidates who can safely drive the box truck and handle collection routes independently may qualify for the upper end of the range. Paid training is provided.
