Job Description
As an Environmental Laborer at Clean Harbors in the Environmental Services department, you will support environmental cleanup, hazardous waste handling, and industrial service projects. Working on field crews, you'll assist with spill response, site remediation, tank and facility cleaning, and material handling. You'll use hand tools and basic equipment while following strict safety and environmental procedures. Responsibilities Perform field labor on environmental and industrial service projects under supervisor direction Handle, package, and load hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely Assist with spill response, remediation, and site cleanup activities Operate basic tools and equipment for industrial cleaning and decontamination Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company compliance standards Complete basic paperwork, labels, and logs for materials and work performed Required Skills Hazardous waste handling Use of PPEEnvironmental remediation Emergency spill cleanup support Industrial cleaning (pressure washing, vacuuming) Sampling and basic field testing Equipment operation (pumps, vac trucks, tools) Confined space and lockout/tagout awareness Decontamination procedures Basic documentation and reporting
