Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Yard Laborer and become a vital part of maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient outdoor work environment. In this energetic role, you'll handle various tasks that keep our yard running smoothly, supporting heavy equipment operation, material handling, and sanitation efforts. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure the yard remains clean, safe, and well-organized, enabling seamless operations across manufacturing and logistics activities. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, forklifts, front loader trucks, and roll-off trucks to move materials efficiently around the yard Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate machinery and manual labor Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of the yard area to maintain a safe and tidy environment Support garbage collection and disposal efforts using garbage trucks or sanitation equipment Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to transport materials or equipment as needed Maintain safety protocols during all operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards Assist in organizing inventory, staging materials for manufacturing or shipping, and supporting logistical workflows Skills Proficiency in loader operation, forklift driving, and heavy equipment handling Experience with excavators or other large machinery is highly desirable Knowledge of manufacturing processes and yard logistics preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Strong attention to safety procedures related to sanitation, garbage collection, and equipment operation Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in heavy equipment operation while contributing to a clean, organized work environment.
