Job Description

Now Hiring Automotive Installation Technicians! 1st Shift, Mon-Thur! Job Description This role focuses on installing and assembling truck bodies, truck equipment, and truck accessories on custom vehicles. You will work primarily independently, using a variety of hand and power tools, following internal software-driven work orders, and contributing to high-quality, customized builds in a shop environment. Responsibilities Install and assemble truck bodies, truck equipment, and truck accessories on custom vehicles according to specifications and work orders. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations. Follow internal software programs and digital work orders to plan, track, and document each install. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation to ensure accurate builds. Operate cranes and perform rigging for larger parts and assemblies as needed. Work primarily independently while coordinating with small teams to complete each build on schedule. Inspect completed work to confirm quality, safety, and alignment with customer and internal standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment with care. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on vehicles, equipment, and in the shop. Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates, take direction, and report any issues or delays promptly. Essential Skills Previous experience working on cars in a garage or body shop setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Comfortable using computers and internal software programs to follow work orders. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in automotive and equipment installation. Strong punctuality and reliable attendance. Ability to take direction and follow established processes. Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently. Basic understanding of crane operation and rigging for larger parts (or willingness to learn). Physical ability to stand for most of the shift and perform some heavy lifting. Additional Skills & Qualifications MIG or TIG welding experience is a plus. Crane operating experience is a plus. Rigging experience is a plus. Prior experience in an automotive, truck upfitting, or fabrication environment is beneficial. Comfort working in a large shop or garage setting with changing conditions. Why Work Here? The environment involves regular use of hand and power tools, cranes, and rigging equipment, with a focus on safety and quality in every project. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
