General Laborer Valley Waste Service Inc. is seeking a reliable laborer to complete a variety of physical labor jobs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Perform facility maintenance including grass cutting, weed eating, pulling weeds, spraying weeds, etc. in the summer.
• Perform facility maintenance including snow plowing, distributing ice melt, snow shoveling, etc. in the winter.
• Other duties such as truck and vehicle pressure washing, picking up litter, moving and lifting various items, painting, sweeping floors, and various other jobs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a dependable, self-motivated individual.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This job is performed both indoors and outdoors. Employees are subject to weather elements daily; i.e. heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.
• Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch/squat required.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
