Job Description

Location:
Youngstown Shift:
1st (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) or 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 10:30 pm)
Pay Rate:
$15/hr
Summary of Responsibilities:
This position will be lifting, stacking, and moving material and pallets throughout the designated area as assigned. Responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving.
Specific Duties:
Set up and operate forklift safely Reports abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly Pay attention to continuous traffic of co-workers and cranes moving throughout the shop Moving raw materials such as steel plates, cut parts, and parts/material from outside shop Managing inventory in and out of the facility Set up and operate overhead crane safely Set up and operate heavy machinery safely Understanding of required PPE (how to select and why it is required) Exhibit proper donning of PPE daily Report safety hazards to supervision/mgt. Attend monthly all shop meetings
Job Requirements:
Reliable/Dependable Current Ohio driver's license High school diploma or GED Organizational skills Positive attitude Strong Mathematical Aptitude Strong Hand-Eye Coordination Open minded and willing to learn company process Willingness to work any shift Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor Forklift experience - preferred Shipping and receiving experience - preferred Crane and heavy machinery experience
Physical Requirements:
