Job Description

The PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center is for you! We host a variety of events, meetings, and banquets, while also taking care of the facility grounds. This part-time role is a great opportunity for self-motivated individuals who are dedicated to the work environment and can work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Apply today and be a part of the Farm Show team! This part-time position supports event operations by helping maintain the Farm Show Complex and preparing it for many different activities. The best part is experiencing each event and interacting with the community—each day is different and entertaining! As a permanent, part-time member of our Event Services Operations Staff, you will perform the following duties:
Facility Setup:
Prepare and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other items for events, guests, and exhibitorsCustodial Tasks:
Clean restrooms, remove trash and maintain indoor areas in good conditionGrounds Care:
Remove debris, shovel snow, and keep outdoor spaces clear and safeLivestock Areas:
Assemble, clean, repair, and tear down livestock pens, stalls, and cagesMaterial Handling:
Load and unload supplies, equipment, hay, feed, and other itemsGeneral Maintenance:
Use tools to complete basic repairs, wash windows, disinfect areas, paint surfaces, and complete other tasks as needed to help maintain facility spaces Interested in learning more? FREE on-site parking Permanent, part-time employment Essential employee- required to report to work during emergencies and office closings.
Available shifts are:
Saturday- Sunday, 7:00AM
- 3:30PM Saturday
- Sunday, 2:30PM
- 11:00
