Job Description
Laborer is responsible for digging foundations, pouring concrete, and installing memorials in local cemeteries. This role involves physical labor, including excavation, mixing and pouring concrete, and setting headstones or monuments according to specifications. The position requires attention to detail, ensuring accurate placement and a respectful environment. The laborer will work outdoors in various weather conditions and may operate machinery such as excavators, jackhammers, and cement mixers. Our ideal candidate should have 1 year of labor experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dig foundations for memorials.
- Pour and finish concrete for headstone foundations.
- Install headstones, monuments, and other memorials accurately.
- Operate machinery and tools as needed.
- Ensure safety standards are followed on-site.
- Maintain a respectful demeanor in cemetery settings.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in concrete work or general labor preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and respect for the cemetery environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate machinery.
- Must pass DOT physical for operating commercial vehicles (not CDL).
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work, exposure to varying weather conditions, and manual labor involving heavy lifting.
