Job Description
Entry level full-time permanent position available. Drug screening and physical required for successful candidate. Wages start at $22.25 / hour plus a $1.00 / hour incentive pay if employee isn't late and works all scheduled hours within a 2 week pay period. After 60 days worked; pay rate increases to $24.22 / hr. Shift differential of $0.50 / hour for overnight shift. Must be capable of working either shift (daylight or night), but worker's shift will not change mid week. Benefits (once qualified) include health insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, sick and accident insurance, as well as a $1.70 / hour contribution into a 401K. Primary responsibilities include the following; setting-up sand molds on shop floor, pouring of molten metal into sand mold, ladle repair / refractory maintenance, shakeout of molds via jackhammering or use of heavy equipment, removal of castings from sand, cleaning up and recycling sand using heavy equipment, general housekeeping, and preparing area for next shift. Secondary responsibilities include using pneumatic hand tools for grinding of castings.
