Job Description

Appliance Delivery & Installation Team (Driver & Helper) - Lowe's Contract Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, motivated Delivery Driver (Box Truck) and Delivery Helper to handle residential appliance deliveries (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, etc.) for Lowe's retail distribution. This team will ensure safe transport, careful in-home maneuvering, basic hookup/installation, and top-notch customer service on every delivery stop. Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation (Driver):
  • Safely operate a 16ft-26ft box truck in accordance with DOT standards and local traffic laws.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fluids, brakes, tires, cargo straps) Follow designated route schedules and meet scheduled customer delivery windows.
  • Loading, Handling & Installation (Driver & Helper):
  • Safely load, strap, and unload heavy appliances using appropriate moving equipment (appliance dollies, shoulder dollies, moving blankets).
Navigate stairs, tight hallways, and residential doorways without causing property or merchandise damage. Complete basic unboxing and hookup/installation (dryer vents/cords, washer waterlines, refrigerator ice lines). Haul away old units and clear all packaging/trash from the customer's property.
Customer Service & Documentation:
Make accurate pre-arrival notification calls to customers along the route. Collect digital signatures and capture high-quality Proof of Delivery (POD) photos via the delivery mobile app.
Requirements Driver:
Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
    Both:
    Physical ability to lift, push, and maneuver 75-100+ lbs continuously in a two-person team. Familiarity with basic hand tools, cordless drills, and standard moving gear. Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening. Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong communication skills!!!!

    $190.00 - $200.00 per day
