Job Description

The City of Baxter is accepting applications for a Full-time Water Department Laborer . The work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday, except in the summer. The summer time hours are 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Applications and job descriptions can be picked up at City Hall 200 Main Street, Baxter 38544. Applicants can also apply online at https://cityofbaxter.com/. Copies of all qualifications should be attached to the application. Questions can be answered by contacting Public Works Director John Ramsey at baxterwater@twlakes.net. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
Qualifications:
Applicant should have a valid Tennessee driver license. Applicant must be able to obtain a Class B, CDL within ninety days. Applicant must also successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Salary depends on experience and qualifications. EOE, TN Drug Free Work Place. .
