Laborer - Facilities Amarillo, TX Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Basic math English Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Position Summary As a laborer, you will assist with the maintenance of various buildings (maintaining facilities, grounds keeping, assisting craft personnel) on commercial and / or industrial sites. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Utilize hand and power tools for the installation of various systems. Keep work area clean and organized. Assist with loading and unloading materials and staging on the jobsite. Ability to work from ladders, man lifts at various heights. Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned. Assist with all facilities related maintenance upkeep. Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications 1 years of experience preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to operate grass maintenance Equipment. OSHA 10 hour preferred. Familiarity with hand and power tools including tape measures preferred. Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to perform routine measurements and calculations. Ability to work with fractions, percentages, and decimals. Additional Requirements Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter. Requires basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills. Complies and promotes company Safety Policy Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed (and approved) Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 80 lbs.
