Job Description

Water Utility Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Water Utility Technician to support daily operations at a water treatment facility. This hands-on role is ideal for skilled laborers who enjoy outdoor work, take pride in maintaining critical infrastructure, and work well as part of a team. The ideal candidate is dependable, responsive, and able to follow detailed instructions while adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines. This position plays a key role in supporting water plant technicians and maintaining clean, safe, and functional facilities and grounds.
Schedule & Benefits:
6am-4:30pm Tuesday-Friday Located in Dallas, Texas 75207 Weekly Pay at $19.00/hr. Benefits Options Available Immediate Start Available upon meeting all qualifications Laborer We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to assist with maintaining safe, clean, and efficient work zones while supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and a commitment to safety and attendance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Keep equipment and work zones clean, organized, and secure. Maintain good attendance in accordance with the Division Attendance Policy. Communicate effectively with citizens, customers, crew members, supervisors, and managers. Perform manual labor for extended periods of time, often in adverse weather conditions. Work safely on level, slippery, sloping, unstable, and uneven terrain. Understand and follow oral and written instructions and adapt to changing work assignments and conditions. Operate and maintain assigned trucks, hand tools, and other equipment. Complete daily trip tickets and required documentation accurately. Perform minor preventive maintenance on equipment, including adding motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and maintaining proper tire pressure. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Ensure work zones are set up and maintained in compliance with current safety rules, guidelines, and regulations. Qualifications Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities. Commitment to workplace safety and attendance requirements. Experience operating trucks, hand tools, and equipment is preferred. This position requires reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety while working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. 6am-4:30pm Tuesday-Friday
