PM Central Description Benefits Questions Duties and Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:
Performs repair, maintenance and cleaning of plant equipment such as pumps, valves, hoppers and bar screens; may operate light to medium power equipment such as air compressors, drills, power saws, front end loaders, dump trucks and tractors; may supervise lower level employees.

Works inside and outside in all kinds of weather; works at wastewater treatment plant and constructed wetlands; may be exposed to traffic, noise, dirt, sewer gas, raw sewage, spiders and snakes; exposure to hazardous conditions due to working in and around manholes, trenches, underground utilities, equipment and marsh; may be subject to working extended hours and Saturday when needed.
Minimum Essential Qualifications Knowledge:
Knowledge of manual tasks required for area of work assignment; knowledge of safety aspects of equipment, tools, etc.; knowledge of tractors with mowers.
Skills/Abilities:
Skilled in the operation and use of hand and power tools; skilled in the operation of light to medium duty automotive and related equipment applicable to assignment; ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time; ability to communicate with co-workers and general foreman.

Constantly sees and hears; frequently drives, climbs, reaches, twist body, reads, cleans, stoops, squats, uses physical dexterity, operates a two-way radio, stands, walks, bends, crawls, lifts objects weighing up to 100 lbs., carries objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
