Junk Removal Driver Job Summary:

The Junk Removal Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to collect, transport, and dispose of unwanted items, junk, furniture, appliances, yard waste, and other materials from residential and commercial customers. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on labor and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive company trucks to customer locations in a safe and professional manner. Load, transport, and unload junk, debris, furniture, appliances, and other materials. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude with customers. Assess items for donation, recycling, or disposal according to company policies. Complete daily routes efficiently and on schedule. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and equipment. Assist team members with lifting and moving heavy items.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in driving, moving, delivery, or junk removal preferred. Ability to safely operate pickup trucks, box trucks, or trailers. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with assistance. Frequent bending, stooping, climbing, walking, and standing. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Capability to perform strenuous physical labor throughout the workday.
