Field Operations Technician

Superior Striping Inc. is looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our field operations team. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in pavement maintenance and markings. You will be an essential part of the crew, ensuring equipment is ready, our job sites are professional, and our finished product exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities Daily Preparation:

Assist in loading trucks with necessary materials and equipment for the day's scheduled projects.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain specialized machinery, including:

Seal Coat Applicators:

Applying protective coatings to asphalt surfaces.

Crack Fill machines:

Injecting hot rubberized sealant into pavement cracks.

Line Striping Machines:

Painting precise lines for parking lots, roads, and athletic courts. •You will also perform…

Site Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized work yard and ensure all tools and vehicles are cleaned and serviced after use.

Field Execution:

Assist with layout, and surface preparation (blowing/sweeping) before application.

Calculations:

Use basic math to determine material mix ratios, and layout measurements.

Qualifications & Skills Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Mathematical Competency:

Must be comfortable with basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and reading a tape measure.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Basic understanding of how to operate and perform minor troubleshooting on small engines or hydraulic equipment.

Reliability:

Punctuality is a must. Our crews depend on every member being present and ready to go at the start of the shift.

Valid Driver's License:
