$18.00•$22.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours:
Monday•Friday (8•10 hour shifts)
Job Description:
WorkSteer is seeking dependable and hard-working Weld Shop Laborers to join a local weld maintenence team. This full-time position involves assisting welders, prepping steel materials, grinding, cutting, general cleanup, and material handling. Prior welding experience is preferred—especially with the dual shield (FCAW) welding process . This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in welding and metal fabrication in a hands-on, team-focused environment.
Requirements:
Welding experience preferred (especially with dual shield/FCAW) Previous weld shop or fabrication experience a plus Must have reliable transportation Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift Comfortable working in a shop setting Strong work ethic and willingness to assist in all areas of the shop
