Job Description
The Town of Chase City is seeking qualified applicants for the position of skilled laborer/equipment operator in the Public Works Department. Duties include heavy physical labor, including landscape and street crew duties. Applicants must have prior knowledge and experience operating equipment and dump trucks. Applicant must also have experience working with equipment such as tractors, front end loaders, backhoes, graders. Applicant must be in good physical condition, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, an acceptable driving record, and possess a Virginia commercial driver's license (CDL). Applicant must able to work after hours as needed. Competitive wage with excellent benefits.
