• Full-time We are looking for a reliable and experienced Yard Laborer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in boat yard operations, equipment management, and maintenance. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including bottom painting, boat hauling, and jack stand maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform bottom painting and other boat maintenance tasks as required. Safely operate and maintain equipment used for boat hauling and storage. Assist in the launching and hauling of boats as needed. Maintain and inspect jack stands to ensure their safety and functionality. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure and efficient working environment. Collaborate with the service foreman and other team members to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a boat yard or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of boat maintenance and equipment operation is a plus. Ability to operate and maintain various yard equipment. Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Working Conditions:

This position is based in our boat yard in Deltaville, VA. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The role may involve occasional heavy lifting and physical labor.
