Job Description
Severn Yachting Center is looking for a yard hand to join the service team. As a Yard hand at Severn you will be a part of the Service team, ready to do what ever it take to get the job done, and play a critical role in the success of the team. Duties include but are not limited to: Experience with cleaning and polishing boats Haul, block and launch boats Waxing, bottom painting and zinc replacement Assist fellow team members as needed Basic knowledge of boat maintenance and repair Grounds maintenance and marina cleanliness including weedwacking. Power washing Operate yard machinery. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, measuring, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Ability to follow instructions and work independently Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety The working hours are 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday.
