In this energetic role, you will assist experienced delivery drivers in loading, unloading, and delivering goods to customers. Your enthusiasm and strong work ethic will help create positive experiences for clients while supporting smooth route operations. Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Help carry items safely from the warehouse to delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky goods Support route driving by preparing delivery routes and verifying delivery addresses for accuracy Load delivery trucks efficiently, organizing packages to facilitate quick and accurate deliveries Aid in the manual movement of goods within the warehouse or customer locations, including heavy lifting tasks Ensure all deliveries are completed on time by helping drivers navigate routes effectively and adhering to safety protocols Maintain clear communication with drivers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or customer requests Qualifications Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is preferred but not required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or box trucks is a plus Familiarity with delivery driver roles or courier services is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely and efficiently Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar tools is desirable Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles and navigating various routes confidently Strong physical stamina to support moving goods throughout the day and assist with loading/unloading tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their driving skills while supporting a team dedicated to delivering excellence.
