Job Description

Come and work for a company with stable hours, Monday through Friday, where culture and people matter! The Laborer will take part in sorting and preparing various materials to meet customer specifications within different departments of our facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintenance:
Performs light maintenance work as needed.
Physical Endurance:
Ability to push and pull while sorting materials.
Knowledge of Specifications:
Understands quality specifications for job and the customer being shipped to.
Reports:
Completes production reports as needed. Adherence to
Guidelines:
Follows safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks of accidents and injuries
Clean Work Area:
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to follow instructions. Ability to complete safety awareness training. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow directions. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions. Ability to work in a variety of roles.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
One to two years of related experience. Preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Body Options Able to complete physically demanding work. Good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping. Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery. Prolonged periods standing. Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time. Dexterity & Acuity Options Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work. Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness. Weather Related Options Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant. May work in a variety of weather including extreme heat and cold.
