Grass Restoration Crew Laborer — $21-$25/hr IV Network Designs Inc - 5.0 Green Bay, WI Job Details Full-time $21 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Professional development assistance Safety equipment provided Tools provided Qualifications Outdoor work OSHA 10 Driver's License Driving Skid steer loader Full Job Description Restoration Crew Laborer — Green Bay / Appleton Area $21.00-$25.00/hr Full-time, W-2, Year-Round Truck & Tools Provided We're hiring 2 crew laborers to restore soft-surface areas (topsoil, seed, sod, erosion control, straw, matting)after underground telecom work. You'll be on a 2-person crew running restoration tickets behind our fiber/utility installs. Where you'll work: Primary area: Green Bay and Appleton (daily, home every night) Occasional trips to Janesville and Kenosha area — 1-4 nights at a time. Hotel paid directly by us. $40/day per diem on overnight trips. What you'll do: Rake, grade, and prep disturbed soft-surface areas Apply seed mixes per DOT/municipal spec, lay sod, blow straw, install erosion matting Document completed restoration tickets with photos Keep the truck, trailer, and tools clean and accountable What we provide: Company truck (you don't drive personal vehicle) All tools, PPE, fuel, and materials Hotel + per diem on travel days Weekly pay, direct deposit Paid holidays after 90 days Year-round work - no layoffs. We've operated here 6 years without a pause. In winter the restoration crew supports our telecom crew with pedestal and handhole placement and fiber pulling. Full 40 hrs every week of the year.
What we need from you:
Valid driver's license, clean-ish record (we'll check — minor stuff usually fine, ask) Able to lift 60 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in heat, cold, and rain Show up on time, every day. Reliable transportation to the shop. Willing to travel overnight for occasional Janesville/Kenosha jobs Pass pre-employment drug screen (telecom requirement, not optional) Nice to have (not required): Prior landscape, concrete, or utility restoration experience Telecom/fiber experience (pedestal placement, handhole setting, fiber pulling) Skid steer or hydroseeder experience OSHA 10
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, typically 7am-4pm. Some Saturdays in summer. OT at time-and-a-half.
