Job Description
No assembly line here! As a General Laborer, your days will fly by as you stay busy in one or more areas of our foundry working independently or in a team. Work Schedule 2nd Shift 2 pm-10 pm (additional shift differential) What you will do: Operate a stand grinding wheel and various hand tools to deburr iron castings weighing 3 pounds up to 300 pounds. Use physical strength to push and place molds on the pouring deck; use hoists to lift and lower weights onto molds. Use physical strength to remove hot castings from conveyor to bin or palletize. Use power tools. Set up and operate machinery. Use a computer to record work activity. Keep areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies necessary to complete work.
