Part Time OR Full-Time Position Summary Fleet XL is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to assist our service department with daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, and is interested in learning more about trailer and equipment repair. Responsibilities Sweep and maintain shop floors and work areas Wash and detail trailers, trucks, and equipment Clean and wash out trailer interiors Assist technicians with repairs and maintenance projects Move equipment and trailers around the yard as directed Organize tools, parts, and shop supplies Dispose of trash and recycling materials Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Perform other general labor and shop duties as assigned Qualifications Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work independently Valid driver's license preferred Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required Forklift experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Opportunity for advancement and on-the-job training Stable, full-time employment or part-time employment Friendly team environment Paid holidays and benefits available based on employment status If you enjoy working with your hands and want to be part of a growing company, we'd like to hear from you.
