Position Title :

Materials, Planning & Logistics Specailsit ▨

Stipend :

$50K-$55K/year ▨ General Responsibilities Support day-to-day MP&L activities to ensure the efficient flow of materials in and out of the plant Monitor production schedules, supplier releases, and delivery timelines to help maintain material availability Communicate with suppliers, plants, warehouses, and internal teams regarding shipment schedules and material status Assist with freight coordination and help ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments Support inventory monitoring and help identify shortages, discrepancies, or delivery issues Maintain accurate data in internal systems related to materials, logistics, and inventory movements Assist in preparing reports related to inventory levels, transportation, delivery performance, and material usage Work with plant teams and logistics providers to support smooth daily operations and timely customer delivery Help identify opportunities for process improvement in materials planning, freight coordination, and packaging Support customs, shipping documentation, and freight forwarding activities as needed Participate in cost-saving initiatives related to freight, packaging, and inventory control Follow company safety procedures and support compliance with internal policies and operational standards Perform other duties as assigned by management ▨ Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; 1-2 years of experience in materials planning, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing support is a plus Basic understanding of supply chain, inventory control, shipping, and logistics processes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively in a fast-paced environment Good communication and coordination skills when working with suppliers, plants, and internal departments Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus Willingness to learn and grow within the MP&L / Supply Chain function Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
