About the Role As a Production Planning Lead, you will serve as the primary architect for manufacturing throughput, ensuring that production schedules align perfectly with resource availability and customer commitments. By leveraging your expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP), you will drive operational efficiency and ensure that complex production cycles remain on track. Responsibilities Design and maintain a robust Master Production Schedule (MPS) to optimize facility output. Align production demand with labor, equipment, and material capacity to prevent bottlenecks. Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain seamless manufacturing flow. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to synchronize production priorities. Manage complex, multi-level Bill of Materials (BOM) structures to ensure accurate planning. Utilize Microsoft Project to track program timelines and monitor schedule performance metrics. Drive continuous process improvements by analyzing production data and generating actionable reports for leadership. Required Skills 3-7 years of professional experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing scheduling. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and MRP logic. Expert-level skills in Microsoft Project for timeline management. Proven ability to manage multi-level BOMs in a high-complexity manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on operational excellence. Preferred Skills Prior experience within the aerospace or aviation manufacturing sectors. Professional certification such as APICS CPIM or CSCP. Demonstrated success in leading cross-departmental collaboration initiatives.
