Job Description

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily logistics and shipping activities, ensuring accurate documentation, timely shipment processing, and smooth coordination between warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams. This role involves maintaining shipping and receiving records, tracking shipments, and assisting with inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, verify, and process shipping and receiving documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipment manifests Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse staff to schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments Update logistics and inventory databases with shipment details and delivery statuses Monitor and report on shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies Maintain organized filing systems (digital and/or physical) for logistics records and documentation Assist with on the floor processing and label printing. Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve shipment issues or documentation errors Support compliance with safety and regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics Perform general administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain, or business administration is a plus 1+ years experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipping/receiving roles preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS) is an advantage Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
