ILS Manager

SUPERVISES

Members of Austal Provisioning Team

AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for coordinating all ILS Provisioning activities for assigned program.
• Responsible for daily operation of all Provisioning (Logistics Support Information) activities and personnel.

Ensures all contractually required Logistics Support Information (LSI) data elements are accurately reported in ICAPS Oversees development of standard and non-standard provisioning packages for submittal to Government. Ensures LSI data is integrated with other ILS products ensuring accuracy and quality of LSI information.

• Responsible for interfacing with OEMs/Suppliers to obtain Vendor Furnished Information as needed
• Responsible for interfacing with Navy/Supship personnel on LSI, CSA and MMS related issues
• Represents Program Provisioning team at all Government meetings, and internal and external Program reviews as required.
• Responsible for ensuring all change order activity that impacts LSI is processed, documented and communicated to rest of ILS Team
• Responsible for interfacing with ILS Program Lead for Team activities and issues
• Responsible for assigned LSI budget, related schedules, and Team member task assignments to meet contractual requirements for assigned program
• Responsible for developing and maintaining Team member metrics and evaluations

Successful applicant must be willing to cross-train to other areas within ILS as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

General 7+ years of Provisioning experience on Navy, MSC or USCG Contracts

• Applicant must have a background in reading and working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) drawings and parts lists
• Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to performing analysis of detailed drawings, parts lists, technical manuals and other various vendor furnished information to determine repairable and replaceable equipment piece parts applicability at the system level.

Excellent written and oral communication skills Experienced in interacting with Supply Chain, Engineering, multipledesign teams from several companies, customer representatives andequipment manufacturers. Computer literate and in-depth knowledge of ICAPS and Microsoft Office products. High School diploma or equivalent required. Related degrees advantageous Prior U.S. Navy, MSC or USCG experience desired

• Familiar with all other areas of ILS including

Tech Manuals, Crew Familiarization, Material Procurement, Maintenance, Outfitting and Life Cycle Support TOOLS:

MMS DIRECTION EXERCISED

Will determine the technical adequacy of all Program LSI deliverables

DISCRETION EXERCISED

Will provide LSI input to all members of the ILS Team

Engineering, Supply Chain, Navy, Equipment Suppliers and ILS Support Contractors
