Material Supervisor Vance, AL 3 months; possible extensions Two shift available 1st:- 6am to 2:30pm 2nd:- 2:30pm to 6am Will be working overtime possible 12 hours per day SAP experience 38-40 direct reports Nice to have (Tier 1 background with any
OEM, CPIM
certification) Position Focus Assist the self-directed work teams on the production floor, provide support of all materials functions by assisting team members in regard to daily assignments and tasks, training, and work schedules Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and efficiencies, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Core Responsibilities:
Assist in directing and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in the materials department Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and team members as needed to make takt time Assist in planning and establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals Use SAP Scanner, Cassioli Scanner, Cassioli/SAP system for input and inventory accuracy Running the Low Stock report to assure the correct material is ordered from T2 or unloaded from the yard and induced into Cassioli before it is needed in picking/replenishment Interacting with Planning, Engineering, or Launch to ensure that the correct parts are loaded in the Cassiolli and reflected on picking list Observe work, and monitors gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
