Job Description

Overview:
The Onin Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support daily operations at our Woodstock, AL warehouse. This role is ideal for an up-and-coming automotive engineer or an individual with experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or automotive logistics. The Logistics Specialist will serve as a key liaison between administrative functions and warehouse operations, helping ensure efficient processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with established protocols. Key Responsibilities Support daily warehouse operations and administrative functions. Assist with operational tasks typically managed by the Operations Specialist team, allowing leadership to focus on strategic warehouse initiatives and new operational protocols. Generate and analyze operational reports to monitor performance, inventory, and workflow metrics. Conduct audits related to supplies, inventory, and purchasing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with automotive parts suppliers and maintain effective communication within the supplier network. Support purchasing and buyer-related activities by tracking inventory needs and supplier performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations. Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
Qualifications Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automotive, Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain, or a related field) or equivalent operational experience. Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, or automotive environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
