Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and operate various heavy equipment to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Your expertise in materials handling, inventory control, and warehouse management systems will contribute significantly to our efficiency and safety standards. Duties Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments using RF scanners and inventory management software Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately for delivery or transfer Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers following safety protocols Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations Maintain precise inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates in warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms Assist in stocking shelves, organizing materials, and ensuring proper storage practices for optimal space utilization Support shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers Strong understanding of warehouse distribution, inventory management, and logistics operations Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software (such as AS400), and RF scanners Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use during heavy lifting and materials handling tasks Mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment operation and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy loads with precision Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential Join us as a Supply Clerk and become an integral part of our efficient warehouse operations!
