ASAP CANDIDATE BACKGROUND PROFILE
We are seeking a technically skilled and analytical professional with at least 2 years of experience in technical troubleshooting , preferably within the automotive, transportation, robotics, or autonomous vehicle industries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize fleet uptime. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking abilities, experience interpreting telemetry or diagnostic data, and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with operators, engineers, and management. Experience supporting electric vehicles, autonomous systems, Linux, Python, Jira, or vehicle hardware is highly preferred.
Ideal candidates will have:
2+ years of technical troubleshooting experience Strong analytical, diagnostic, and root cause analysis skills Experience interpreting telemetry, diagnostic, or operational data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Experience with Linux, Python, Jira, or similar technical platforms (preferred) Experience supporting electric vehicles, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or hardware/software integrated systems (preferred) Flexibility to support day, swing, midnight, and on-call shifts Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
SCOPE OF WORK
Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time fleet issue escalations. Monitor fleet health and perform first-level diagnostics using telemetry and operational data. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and autonomous vehicle system issues to maximize fleet uptime. Escalate unresolved issues to engineering and operations teams while ensuring timely resolution. Establish and maintain escalation procedures for complex technical issues. Document troubleshooting activities, findings, and resolutions within Jira or similar tracking systems. Analyze historical fleet data to identify recurring issues and implement preventative solutions. Coordinate and communicate fleet status updates with operators, engineers, management, and other stakeholders. Help ensure adequate shift coverage while supporting operational productivity, quality, and safety standards. Participate in an on-call rotation supporting day, swing, and midnight shifts as operational needs require. Maintain compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company operational standards while supporting the successful commercialization of an autonomous vehicle fleet.
Pay:
$40.00 - $43.00 per hour
