Job Description

The Spanish Bilingual Certified Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating non-emergency medical transportation services for members traveling to and from medical appointments. This role serves as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and transportation vendors, ensuring rides are scheduled accurately and members receive timely transportation services. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish and hold a Bilingual Tier I Certification, as a significant portion of the members served are Spanish-speaking. Essential Functions Coordinate and schedule non-emergency medical transportation for members attending healthcare appointments. Communicate directly with members, healthcare providers, and transportation vendors to arrange transportation services. Assist Spanish-speaking members by providing clear information regarding transportation schedules, appointments, and service updates. Schedule, modify, and confirm transportation requests to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off. Monitor daily transportation activity and resolve scheduling conflicts or service issues. Maintain accurate records of member transportation requests, appointments, and ride outcomes. Utilize transportation management systems and scheduling software to coordinate services. Respond to member inquiries, concerns, and transportation-related issues in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with internal teams and external transportation providers to ensure quality member service. Verify and document transportation services in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality of member information and comply with HIPAA standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Employment Standards High School Diploma or equivalent required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in, scheduling, dispatch call center operations, healthcare services, transportation coordination, or a related field preferred. Experience using scheduling software, transportation management systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIRED
Bilingual English/Spanish with current Tier I Bilingual Certification. MUST be able to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking members and coordinate transportation services in both English and Spanish.
