Logistics Coordinator Elite One Advisory Group - 5.0 Bakersfield, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $21.50 - $25.00 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Road transportation operations Logistics customer service Supply chain transportation management Attention to detail Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage daily transportation activities and ensure shipments are scheduled, tracked, and delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can coordinate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule freight shipments from pickup through delivery. Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and warehouses regarding shipment status. Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers. Confirm pickup and delivery appointments. Monitor shipments for delays, missed appointments, or other issues and resolve problems quickly. Obtain and maintain accurate shipment documentation, including bills of lading, rate confirmations, and proof of delivery. Enter and maintain shipment information in the company's TMS, CRM, and other systems. Coordinate with carriers to confirm equipment availability and pickup details. Assist with rate negotiations and carrier selection when needed. Verify freight charges and assist with billing and documentation. Maintain organized records of shipments and customer communications. Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Handle customer questions and transportation-related issues professionally. Follow company policies, safety requirements, and transportation regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, dispatch, or customer service preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and messaging platforms. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or transportation management systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of trucking, freight, and transportation terminology is a plus. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, and customer-focused . They should be comfortable managing multiple shipments at once, following up consistently, and taking ownership of transportation issues from pickup to delivery.
