Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Distribution Associate in Materials Management contributes to the overall success of Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District by distributing both medical, and non-medical supplies to clinical and administrative areas within the hospital and outside the hospital.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Stock, and distribute storeroom supplies to nursing units and outside clinics. Refill crash carts as needed, supporting hospital usage. Communicate any UOM and physical count discrepancies to coordinator. Maintain department cleanliness and perform scheduled cleaning as needed. Participate in the on-call rotation schedule to include weekends. Respond to emergency or STAT calls in a timely manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Inventory management experience in an acute care hospital; supervisory and/or leadership experience, skills are desired.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Valid California driver's license.

: Newborn  Infant/Pediatric  Adolescent  Adult  Geriatric  All  X No Patient Care
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Lift +50 lbs and tolerate long periods walking or standing.
