Job Description
Production PlannerPosition OverviewThe Production Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing the production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. This role involves coordinating production activities, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that products are dispatched in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
Coordinate with various departments including manufacturing, inventory management, and dispatch to streamline production processes.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with management to implement best practices in production planning and operations.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
Proven experience as a Production Planner or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes and inventory management principles.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
