Job Description:
The Fulfillment Technician is responsible for supporting day to day operations as assigned, transporting assets via forklift, cart, case or by hand within the shop. The Fulfillment Technician also supports departments across the shop with the key phases of Check In, distribution, QC, and check-out. This role is a key member of the shop staff, providing support across departments for retrieval, dissemination, and storage of hardware and fixtures. This position requires a safety first mentality, the ability to sit and stand for long periods, comfort working independently in addition to supporting multiple teams, and excellent organizational skills. Volt is a fast paced organization with scalable timelines; that requires accurate results to be produced in a timely and efficient manner. This is a full time, non-exempt, at will position. The Fulfillment Technician reports directly to the Shop Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklift to retrieve and transport assets from pallet rack shelving, in between departments, or in support of production needs Previous forklift certification preferred, not required Prior entertainment lighting experience helpful but not required Ability to support cross functional departments Ability to use basic hand and power tools for hardware assembly & disassembly Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Ability to listen and follow instructions while working independently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Work to support a safe work environment for all employees and guests of Volt Ability to work flexible shifts based on workload priority Other duties as assigned
Compensation Package:
Hourly rate of $20/hr with overtime (1.5x) after 8 hours, paid bi-weekly 40 hours paid time off.† 48 hours sick leave.† Health, dental, and vision partially covered by employer 11 Paid Holidays. 401(k): You will be eligible to participate in Volt's 401(k) Safe Harbor plan and a company matching formula of 100% on the first 3% of compensation and 50% on the next 2% of compensation. You can enroll after completing one full year of service. † Sick hours remaining at the end of the year will go away, with a new bank of 48 hours of sick available as of 1/1. Any vacation hours remaining at the end of the year will rollover to the new year.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
