APPLE INC
has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. Assess global demand and position supply to provide the best possible customer experience. Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through. Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives. Plan and implement contingency plans. Analyze product sales daily. Find opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action. Coordinate closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions. Partner with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensure raw material inventory targets are met, and minimize material obsolescence during product transition. Manage supply chain issues as they arise, partnering with cross-functional teams to propose and implement innovative solutions. Present complex product updates in a concise manner and recommended actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis. Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and independently drive projects to completion. Foster strong team relationships, motivating and coaching peers if appropriate. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,300 - $244,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Preferred Qualifications N/A Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Analytics, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: Performing Advanced Modeling utilizing Excel for forecasting demand and allocating finished good supply and components, including scenario-based planning. Applying manufacturing planning knowledge to create factory production plans to optimize both desired supply and factory operations. Developing plans for strategic and constrained resources, in partnership with global procurement teams, to optimize customer satisfaction while also considering financial goals and minimizing operational complexity and risk. Launching new products, taking into consideration demand uncertainty, channel specific requirements and supply chain complexities. Presenting business status, risks and recommended solutions to managers and executives. Quantifying financial implications of business decisions, such as those involving supply allocations or capital expenditures. Managing inventory balances, projections and status across the entire finished goods supply chain. Coordinating with multiple regional and cross-functional groups/teams to manage supply and collaborate on decision-making. Managing projects or devising new processes to improve quality and efficiency of supply planning.
