Job Description

Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role will be to handle all billing and other administrative duties for the transportation department, as well as provide customer service, and review documentation regarding invoice inquiries and quotes.
  • Billing o Bill transportation invoices. o Providing rate quotes using customer contracts, as well as answer inquiries regarding invoices billed o Review back up documents and audit customer needs o Create customer invoices o Upload to customer portals o All other tasks requested that relate to transportation billing
  • Logistics Coordination o Responsible for closing out orders in MG and customer portals o Required to track and trace transportation orders.
o Monitor POD document retrievals. Look out for carrier cost against customer cost. o Print and provide DR's and pallet labels o Work on invoices provide by 3rd party carriers o Enter any exceptions/OS&D's once POD is available. o Serve as communication point between Weber Logistics customer and 3rd party carrier o Interface with multiple warehouses and transportations. o Ability to keep track of delivery times, transportation costs and performance evaluation. o Dispatch TL's and LTL orders daily. o All other AD HOL Duties assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Possesses excellent computer skills and is able to type quickly and accurately
  • Has knowledge of billing software Mercury Gate preferred
  • Shows proficiency and speed
  • Demonstrates great attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel
  • Displays exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with customers on the telephone or in person
  • Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in computer skills;
