Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to join our team in Downey, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating freight and shipments, providing strong customer service, and handling light accounting responsibilities. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and track inbound and outbound freight shipments.
Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, vendors, and customers.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, delivery receipts, and related paperwork.
Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment updates, delivery schedules, and issues.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve shipping or delivery discrepancies.
Enter and maintain accurate shipment, order, and customer information in company systems.
Assist with freight quotes, invoices, billing, and payment processing.
Perform light accounting duties, including invoice matching, data entry, and account reconciliation support.
Review freight invoices for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
Maintain organized logistics and accounting records.
Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and accounting teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Assist with other administrative and logistics duties as needed.
