Job Description

Job Title:
Demand Planner Job Description The Demand Planner serves as a vital liaison between forecasting, manufacturing, inventory management, and order fulfillment operations. This position is responsible for translating demand forecasts into executable manufacturing plans while ensuring products move efficiently through the fulfillment process. Responsibilities Translate demand planning and forecasts into executable manufacturing plans. Utilize and troubleshoot SAP ERP systems. Plan and manage inventory effectively. Manage BOM and work orders. Coordinate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics teams. Execute order fulfillment processes. Track and report KPIs. Initiate process improvements. Support capacity planning. Essential Skills Extensive SAP experience including work orders, BOMs, inventory transactions, demand planning, and troubleshooting. Understanding of how forecasts translate into manufacturing demand and inventory requirements. Experience supporting the order fulfillment process from demand signal through manufacturing execution and shipment. Strong communication and project coordination skills. Collaboration experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred. 3+ years in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Operations Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics. Experience in a Manufacturing environment required. Experience in Biotech or Medical Device industries preferred. Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Tableau. APICS and S&OP knowledge. Capacity planning and data analytics expertise. Experience in inventory optimization and lean manufacturing. Problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. Work Environment The role is onsite Monday through Friday with flexible start times. The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a collaborative, hands-on culture. The team-oriented atmosphere encourages strong cross-functional interaction. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Emeryville, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr. The Supply Chain Operations Engineer serves as a key liaison between forecasting, manufacturing, inventory management, and order fulfillment operations. This position is responsible for translating demand forecasts into executable manufacturing plans while ensuring products move efficiently through the fulfillment process.
