This role supports a manufacturing supply chain team by managing purchase order timelines, tracking supplier commitments, expediting at-risk shipments, and maintaining accurate supplier and delivery data. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career supply chain or procurement professional who enjoys problem-solving, follow-up, data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination. The Supply Chain Specialist will work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment where proactive communication, organization, and ownership directly support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with suppliers, internal teams, purchase orders, part setup, and order status updates while contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace with supportive leadership and opportunities to build long-term supply chain experience. Key Responsibilities Proactively monitor purchase orders, delivery commitments, and supplier updates to identify at-risk orders and reduce delivery delays. Manage expediting activities, including proactive pull-ins, Full Service Expedites, and follow-up on broken delivery promises. Track, enter, and maintain accurate broken promise dates, status changes, and expedite data in company systems. Support purchase order acknowledgment and reacknowledgment processes by following up with suppliers and recording responses. Process new part additions and support new supplier setup while ensuring data accuracy and documentation completeness. Assist with supplier qualification activities to help confirm suppliers meet onboarding and compliance requirements.
