Job Summary The Inbound/Outbound Shipment Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination and administration of domestic and international logistics operations, including Department of Defense (DoD) shipments. This role is responsible for arranging and monitoring work orders, coordinating with domestic and international agents, tracking shipments, and providing timely updates to customers. In addition, this position supports accounts payable activities by reviewing and auditing vendor invoices, processing payment requests, monitoring payment status, and resolving billing discrepancies. Similar to a Logistics Coordinator role, this position offers greater variety and hands-on problem-solving, requiring the ability to navigate shipment challenges, coordinate solutions across multiple parties, and keep operations moving efficiently. You'll be the account's main point of contact for customers, helping answer shipment questions, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions when things don't go as planned and actively responsible for keeping shipments, documentation, and communication moving smoothly.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Arrange Domestic / International work orders (Department of Defense (DoD) shipments) Manage work order and follow-up with both Domestic / International Agents Review/audit vendor invoices and update accordingly Responsible for daily logistics operations to update, follow up, etc. Provide exceptional customer service on all accounts assigned Track, trace, and update shipment data through tracing system Submit payment request for payment to the vendor in a timely manner Manage account payable by registering invoice, submit payment request, and track payment status Handle and resolve various complaint and claim from the customers Other related duties as assigned Requirements Bilingual in English and Korean (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience in high level coordination, regarding shipments, tracking freight, and managing transportation documentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced operational environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite applications Commitment to maintaining precise documentation and ensuring data accuracy across operational processes
