Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Lumper (Loading & Unloading) and become a vital part of ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading shipments, handling materials with precision, and supporting overall warehouse flow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, coordinate shipments, and contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment. Your efforts will directly impact the timely delivery of goods and the safety of our team. Duties Safely load and unload trucks. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory movements Conduct heavy lifting and proper stacking of goods to maintain safety standards and prevent damage Support shipping & receiving functions by verifying inbound and outbound shipments Follow OSHA safety protocols rigorously during all loading, unloading, and material handling activities Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, or shipping & receiving roles Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control Experience in construction or materials handling environments is a plus Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
