As a Mental Health Technician (Resident Coordinator) , you'll be the staff responsible for the supervision of AMFM Healthcare's residents residing in AMFM Healthcare's Transitional Living Homes. The Resident Coordinator helps to provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment to promote well-being, safety, and encourages clients to continue their recovery program. This position is expected to cooperate as a team member with AMFM Healthcare management and clinical staff. The Resident Coordinator has knowledge, skills, and experience with supervising client services and all related tasks to provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for clients, and is familiar with concepts of recovery from mental health and co-occurring disorders. High School Diploma or GED Background Check:
Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and any additional required background checksValid Driver's License:
Possess valid driver's license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.Physical Requirements:
Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairsKey Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology (preferred but not required) Your Role & Responsibilities As a Mental Health Technician (Resident Coordinator) , you'll be a vital part of the treatment process, ensuring that clients receive the care, guidance, and support they need.Your daily responsibilities will include:
Providing Direct Support- Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment Transportation & Safety
- Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments Behavioral Observation
- Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams Medication Support
- Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration Environment Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities Facilitating Group Activities
- Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions Emergency Response
