Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opportunity for a Logistics Support Level 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Palmdale, CA Duties for this position include: Provides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.Essential duties may include:
- Shipping and receiving
- Coordinating with transportation to deliver material
- Working with buyers to correct paperwork
- Initiate HMDRs
- Provide after hours support
- Warehouse duties
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Available to work after hours support
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Ability to stand or kneel as needed and be able to life 25lbs or more
- Must have an active USG Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program (SAP) access via a Program Access Request (PAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Previous experience with Government Property and Asset Management, Supply and/or Logistics
- Forklift Certified
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
