Production Planner, Manufacturing Yoh is looking for a Production Planner, Manufacturing to support our client in the biotechnology manufacturing industry. This position will own production planning and scheduling for complex electromechanical instruments, translating demand into executable work orders while driving material readiness across Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on production planning experience, proficiency with Oracle ERP and MRP, and experience supporting complex electromechanical instrument builds with multi-level BOMs.

• Own the master production schedule and release work orders for instrument builds, subassemblies, service, and spare demand.
• Run and action MRP in Oracle, converting planned orders into requisitions and work orders with accurate dates, quantities, and priorities.
• Balance production schedules against labor capacity, test and burn-in availability, material lead times, and other manufacturing constraints.
• Maintain planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, lot sizing, and sourcing rules.
• Publish clear-to-build and shortage reports and drive material shortages to resolution through daily cross-functional follow-up.
• Partner with Procurement to expedite, pull in, or push out purchase orders based on actual production requirements.
• Work directly with Warehouse teams on kit staging, pick accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with Quality on incoming inspection priorities, non-conforming materials, and MRB dispositions impacting production.
• Work alongside Manufacturing and Test to sequence builds, resolve line-side shortages, and adjust schedules for rework or troubleshooting.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and manage material impacts associated with engineering changes, cut-in points, rework requirements, and obsolete inventory.
• Reconcile work order material issues, backflush errors, inventory transactions, and variances within Oracle.
• Track and report schedule attainment, on-time delivery, inventory levels, and shortage recovery.
• Identify recurring causes of production delays and drive improvements to prevent repeat shortages. Minimum Requirements
• 3-5+ years of production planning, master scheduling, or materials planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle ERP , including MRP, work orders, inventory data, planned orders, and inventory transactions.
• Experience planning complex electromechanical instrument builds involving mechanical, electrical, and optical, fluidic, or pneumatic subassemblies.
• Experience working with deep, multi-level BOMs and long-lead components.
• Hands-on working style with the ability to work directly on the manufacturing floor and in the stockroom with Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and analysis of large data sets.
• Ability to manage competing production priorities, maintain realistic schedules, and clearly communicate risks and trade-offs. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within an

ISO 9001, ISO

13485, or similar regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environment.

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Familiarity with engineering change control and PLM systems.
• Experience supporting NPI and transitioning products from pilot builds into sustained production.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, or equivalent hands-on experience.
